this picture is one of my all time favourtie pictures. the reason is that it captures something that i really like. jordans are my favourite type of shoe. in this picture the jordan logo really stands out. i tried to make it stand out more by using the macro lense while using shallow depth of field. in photoshop i used vignette which helped bring out the jordan jumpman and also the yellow in the shoe.
this picture is also another one of my favorites. i really like this picture because of how the shoe is isolated. the colour pops because i used and black background. i really like the cream colour of the shoe. i took this picture in the back room using the macro lense and using the different lighting. i created shadows on the shoe which looks really cool by using the different lighitng. i also like how the jordan jumpman on the back of the shoe is kind of hidden in the shadows but you can still see it.
ths picture i took in the same atmosphere using the same utensils as the picture above. the jordan logo being centered in the picture makes it look cool aswell as the shadows on the shoe. my favorite thihng about this picture is that the jumpman is the main focus. i liek that the 23 on the side of the shoe is hidden and blends in with the shadows.
Famous Photographer
this picture really appeals tp my eye because the white glass of the light bulb stands out from the black backgournd. this photo took three attempts this picture was hard to obtain because you need perfect timing. i like the shattered bits of the light bulb on the black background.
Creative Framing
this picture captures the baksetball hoop though a loop of the chain linked fence. this looks really cool because the fence is blurry which is caused by the shallow depth of field. the picture being desaturated makes it have an auhtnetic feeling. witht he school there and being behind the fence makes the school look like a prison.
Photo Of The Week
this is one of my favourtie pictures of a person. i really like this picture because it was my first attempt taking it. i wasnt expecting this picture to be this good, because i didnt decide on the pose Cassidy should do. but it turned out to be a good photo.
this picutre is cool because the water looks like it is hanging on to the sole of the shoe. the shoes leather is wet which gives it a nice dark color. i like the shoe print left in the water.
i really like the sunset in this picture that is hidden behind the trees. the orange glow going across the sky brings out the shadows of the trees. the blue in sky contradicts the sunset because it looks ealry with the blue but than the sun is almost set.
i like that the picture is desaturated and than the pinecone is colored. i also like hwo the believe tattoo is there but doesnt pop out but is still noticesable. the shallow depth of field reallt brings out the pinecone.
i chose to desaturate this picture so it would bring out the jumpan on the shoes and white base of the shoe. i like how the white changes colors when you look further down the shoe. the 23 on the shoe really captures my eye aswell as the jumpan because of the desaturation and being on a white base.
Social Justice
with this picture i was trying to show kelsey being bullied by Bahradene and Cassidy. my main focus was kelsey so i desaturated the picture and left kelsey in color. i put a vignette on this picture to make the outsides darker and the inside lighter. by using the vignette it made the picture stronger by making kelsey as the main focus.
Culture
for the culture i assignment i took a picture of a basketball because that represents culture to me. the picture of the ball represents culture to me because i love baksebtall. i desaturated the picture to make it look more serious. i played arround with the curves to creat shadows but still have light on the ball.
